This attractive mellow brick cottage has been renovated to the highest standards, bringing together the old country character, with all the modern amenities. The excellent location of the cottage makes this the ideal holiday retreat. The Pack Horse Inn, at Little Longstone, serves local food. As does the Monsal Head Hotel and Stables Bar, at Monsal Head. Both are within easy walking distance.

Enter the cottage, from the stone flagged patio into the hall, which has beautiful light oak stairs and plenty of coat hanging space.

The restful lounge, with comfortable sofas and a cosy log burning stove, has a lovely outlook over the cottage garden, a colour TV, and DVD.
 

Across the hall is the attractive dining room, with oak table and chairs, opening to a superbly fitted kitchen. The kitchen boasts quality oak units, granite tops, a induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A stable door leads out to the patio and separate laundry room with freezer, automatic washer, tumble dryer and storage for bikes/boots etc

Off the dining room is the ground floor wet room with shower and wc.

A light and classy double bedroom with far reaching views has an en-suite bathroom, bath/shower  and W.C.

A twin bedroom of matching quality. Also enjoys the lovely county views.

 

Stable cottage is warm and cosy which is superbly finished with fantastic open views.

 

The cottage garden/patio is ideal for relaxing and al fresco eating.

 

This amazing area is excellent for walking starting directly from the cottage, cycling along the newly opened Monsal trail, riding and sight seeing around the beautiful Peak District.  Ideal rural location situated between the picturesque village of Ashford in the Water, breathtaking views over Monsal Head and Little Longstone.​
