"Beautiful cottage"

We booked Stable cottage for October half-term and had a brilliant time. We've stayed in many self catering cottages in the Peak District over the years, but this one has been the BEST! Very well equipped and very cosy and comfortable. A super comfy sofa too, which often lacks in other places. We will definitely return. Many thanks from the Clayton family :-)

This was our third visit to The Stable Cottage and we love everything about it. The owners are very welcoming and very helpful .Situated in a very good area to access the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire ,with very good walks and nice pubs ! The cottage is spotless and well equipped and very cozy .We will certainly be returning again next year.

"Super Cottage"

Loved this cottage Lovely garden with patio for sitting out on,underfloor heating log burner,two bathrooms,pet friendly,what more could you ask for. The owners were friendly,great walks from the door can highly recommend a stay here.

 

"Ideally Situated"

Even though this was not the ideal time to take a holiday our stay here was really enjoyable. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, clean and well kept. It is ideally situated for walking in this beautiful area. We were made extremely welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would hope to return and would recommend this accommodation.

 

"Lovely home from home cottage"

The cottage is perfectly placed for the great outdoors with walks from the door and many sights and attractions nearby. The accommodation is very cosy and comfortable with everything you need provided including lots of soft towels. Very clean throughout and nice to have soap and washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets provided!

Underfloor heating means you will never feel cold whatever the weather outside. A couple of pubs within walking distance but otherwise a short drive will get you to Bakewell, Tideswell, Castleton and Hathersage etc. Within 5 mins drive is cycle hire where all the family can hire a bike and ride along the flat Monsal trail through railway tunnels.

 

"Great Stay"

Beautiful cottage, high quality, loved the under floor heating! Tasteful and modern decor with traditional touches. Excellent access to some great walks. Monsal head car park only a short walk from the cottage. Would stay again!
